The Challenge

Our client was a healthcare professional who counselled parents dealing with children's behavioural problems. Most of the issues were recurring and predictable — and the standard approach of in-person consultations was both costly for parents and hard to scale for the client. The insight was simple: if 70% of parents could resolve their child's behavioural issues without ever visiting the clinic, the right tool could deliver that outcome at a fraction of the appointment fee.

What We Built

ML-Based Adaptive Questionnaire

The app works through a branching tree of questions, leading each parent to a tailored plan for managing their child's behaviour. We built an ML-based questionnaire that adjusted follow-up questions based on each parent's previous answers — so the path each parent took through the app was unique to their situation, not a generic script.

CMS-Editable Question Bank

The questionnaire was also editable through a backend CMS, so the app's admin could add questions and refine responses during the early rollout. The client got a solution they could run and improve on their own schedule without needing developer involvement.

The Result

The platform automated the client's recurring consultation process and made it available at a fraction of the appointment fee. Parents work through an adaptive questionnaire on their own time and receive a tailored guidance plan — and the client retains full control over the question set through the backend CMS to refine the experience as they learn more about their users.

ENGINEERING PHILOSOPHY

Code is useless if it's not comprehensible to those who maintain it. We write code the next person can actually understand.
