Messagetothemoon | SAAS Based SMS Sending Platform
This system supports both prepaid and postpaid mechanisms that are authorized to cater for both types of payments and their related integrations via salesforce.
This project came from a well-known SMS Gateway brand in the Netherlands. Their goal was to sell their platform on both SaaS and PaaS models.
A core requirement was avoiding a full rebuild. The client already ran their business through Salesforce, so we only built what Salesforce couldn't handle, skipping any migration and saving both time and cost.
We connected to Salesforce's API to pull customer data and handle SMS sending, receiving, and credits management in the new web app. The client wanted multilingual support, so we launched with English and Dutch and built the architecture to support additional languages without major rework.
For SaaS users, the interface mirrors a familiar Inbox/Outbox/Sent layout — simple and recognizable. PaaS business users get an advanced API configuration that connects the exposed API to their own workflows. For example, a PaaS user can route incoming SMS to a specific email address, or reverse it.
The standout feature for both user types is bulk SMS via CSV upload with SMS merge. Users create templates with dynamic variables, upload a CSV, and the system merges the data and sends automated SMS through direct or scheduled delivery.
